A New River woman is familiar with a new age approach to getting healthy.
As an herbalist and owner of the Peaceful Spirit Enrichment Center, Melanie Dunlap is use to making people feel better.  But lately the biggest attraction sits in her backyard. It's a 28-foot classical labyrinth and it's where clients and friends are learning how to cope with health issues and stress just by walking.

A mental siesta along with a chance to reconnect with nature and community are on the menu.
So to is the opportunity to engage each of the senses. In running Peaceful Spirit Enrichment Center out of her New River home Melanie Dunlap attempts to help customers become healthier both mentally and physically by offering them the view of the desert from her backyard, the taste and smell of a variety of herbal teas, the sounds of tranquil music or drumming by group members
